SoundCloud cover art downloader
Paste a track link and get the cover image at the size the artist actually uploaded — usually far larger than the version SoundCloud shows on the page.
The image on the page is not the full image
SoundCloud displays cover art at a few hundred pixels, and that is what you get if you right-click and save. Behind it sits the file the artist actually uploaded, frequently 2000 to 3000 pixels square. This fetches that original wherever it exists and falls back to the next-largest size when it does not, so you always get the best version available rather than the one that happened to be on screen.
Why right-click and screenshots fall short
Right-clicking gives you the display-size version, and a screenshot gives you something worse: recompressed, cropped to your window, and carrying whatever colour shift your display added. Neither is usable if you want the art for a print, a video thumbnail, a DJ library, or just a phone wallpaper that stays sharp. A downloaded file is the actual image, at the actual resolution.
How to use it
Open the track on SoundCloud, tap Share and then Copy Link, and paste it above. The cover appears with its resolution and file size so you can see what you are getting before saving. Track links work; short on.soundcloud.com share links work too and are resolved automatically. Paste a playlist or profile link and you will get that page's own image rather than a track's.
What you get back
A plain JPEG or PNG — whatever the artist uploaded — saved under the track name so your folder does not fill up with files called artwork.jpg. Nothing is re-encoded, upscaled or watermarked on the way through, so the file you receive is byte-for-byte the one SoundCloud is holding.
Use it for the things art is actually for
The common reasons people want it: tagging a downloaded MP3 properly so a music app shows the right cover, making a video or podcast thumbnail, printing something for a release, or setting a wallpaper. If you are also saving the audio, the tracks from our the MP3 converter already arrive with the cover embedded — this page is for when you want the image on its own, at full size.
Please respect the artist
Cover art is someone's work, usually a designer's or photographer's, and downloading it does not transfer any rights. Using it for your own release, merchandise, or anything commercial needs permission from whoever made it. Personal use, correctly tagging your own library, and reference are the uses this is meant for.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download SoundCloud cover art in full size?
Copy the track link, paste it above, and press Get cover. The original image the artist uploaded is fetched — often 2000 to 3000 pixels square — and you can save it with one tap. No account and nothing to install.
Why is this bigger than right-clicking the image?
SoundCloud shows cover art at a few hundred pixels, so right-clicking saves that small display version. The full-resolution upload sits behind it, and that is what this retrieves.
What resolution will I get?
Whatever the artist uploaded. Most releases are 2000 to 3000 pixels square. Where no original exists we fall back to the largest available size, and the page tells you which one you received.
Does it work with playlists and profiles?
Yes — you will get that playlist or profile's own image. For a specific song's cover, paste the track link rather than the page it appears on.
Is the image modified in any way?
No. It is not re-encoded, upscaled, cropped or watermarked. You receive the file SoundCloud is holding, named after the track.
Can I use the artwork for my own release or merchandise?
Not without permission. Cover art is copyrighted work belonging to whoever created it, and downloading a copy does not grant you any rights to republish or sell it. Personal use and correctly tagging your own library are fine.
Why did it say there is no cover art?
Some uploads genuinely have none, in which case SoundCloud shows a placeholder and there is nothing to download. The same limits as the rest of the site also apply: private tracks without a share link, removed tracks, and geo-restricted uploads cannot be resolved.
