SoundyLoader respects the rights of creators and rights holders. This page explains what the service is, and how to reach us if you believe your rights have been infringed.

What SoundyLoader is

SoundyLoader is a conversion tool. It does not host, index, store, or distribute a catalogue of music, and it provides no search or browse interface over other people’s copyrighted works. It acts only on a public URL that a user supplies, at the moment they supply it. Converted files are temporary and are deleted automatically. We are not affiliated with SoundCloud.

Because of this, there is generally no stored file for us to “take down”. Where content originates on the source platform, the fastest and most complete remedy is to file a notice with that platform, which can remove the work at its source.

Submitting a copyright notice

If you are the rights holder (or authorised to act for one) and believe the service has been used to infringe your work, send a notice to dmca@soundyloader.com including:

• identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
• the specific URL(s) concerned, with enough detail for us to locate the material;
• your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
• a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
• your physical or electronic signature.

How we respond

We review valid notices promptly and, where the material is within our control, remove or disable access to it. Where appropriate we will also block the specific URL from being processed by the tool. We may forward the notice to the source platform.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error or through misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, including your contact details, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your signature.

Repeat infringers

We will restrict access to the service for users who repeatedly use it to infringe copyright, to the extent we are able to identify them.

Misuse of this process

Knowingly submitting a materially false notice can carry legal liability. Please only file a notice about work you genuinely hold rights to.
